Kairo by Anansi · Hands-on AI for professionals

Stop reading about AI.
Start using it.

A 2-day hands-on workshop for working professionals, Thursday–Friday, 9am–5pm ET. Open your laptop, learn from someone who actually builds with AI, leave with working tools in your real job by Monday morning.

01

What you learn

Two days. Real tools, real work.

Day 1

Foundations + your first working AI

  • 01

What AI actually is, in plain language

  • 02

Hands-on with ChatGPT and Claude against your real work

  • 03

Prompt engineering that produces useful outputs (5 patterns)

  • 04

Working with documents — uploading, summarizing, extracting

  • 05

A document workflow you'll reuse every week, built before you leave

Day 2

Delegate to AI + bring it back to your team

  • 01

Your own AI assistant, set up for your role (custom GPTs, Claude Projects)

  • 02

Delegating to AI agents connected to your email, calendar and files — no code

  • 03

A recurring task that runs on its own, with you approving what goes out

  • 04

When AI fails — including agents tricked by hidden instructions (the block most workshops skip)

  • 05

Bringing it back to your team with a 30-day pilot plan

02

Who it's for

Working professionals who've heard about AI everywhere — and are quietly worried they don't actually know how to use it.

You don't need a technical background. You don't need to “be good at computers.” You just need a laptop and a job where AI could probably help, if you only knew where to start.

Director, financial firm

“My team uses ChatGPT but I don’t really. I want to lead, not lag.”

Senior manager, operations

“AI is on every quarterly slide deck. I need to know what’s real.”

20-year IC

“I’ve watched a junior employee do my report in 5 minutes. I’m catching up — fast.”

03

What makes it different

Not another deck. Not another “framework.”
Built by an operator.

01

Hands-on, not lecture

Laptops open from hour one. Every concept is followed by 15–20 minutes of trying it on your own work, so you leave with working AI, not notes.

02

Taught by a builder

The person teaching you builds production AI for a living, so you learn what works now, not what worked in a textbook.

03

The block most workshops skip

How AI fails: hallucinations, data leaks, and agents tricked by hidden instructions in a document. You'll see it happen live, then build the guardrails.

Most professionals expense training like this through their professional development budget. We've drafted a one-page justification letter that explains the format, the outcomes, and the return in language your manager will recognize. Download it, add your name, and send it.

The instructor

Dr. David Noel

PhD, Computer Science · Adjunct Professor · Founder, Anansi

Dr. David Noel

David holds a PhD in Computer Science and is an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where he teaches Artificial Intelligence in Action (TECH 3200), the AI course every NSU undergraduate is required to take, and serves on doctoral dissertation committees for AI-focused research. He is the founder of Anansi Technology LLC, an applied AI lab in South Florida.

In his day job, David is an AI Research Scientist who builds production AI systems used by tens of thousands of colleagues across the enterprise. His evaluations directly inform which AI systems the enterprise trusts in production.

His path to AI ran through hardware: he started at Intel, working on fault isolation for server processors, before moving into software and financial technology. That full-stack perspective — from hardware to large language models — is what makes his teaching different: he doesn't just show you which buttons to press, he explains what's actually happening underneath.

David is a builder first and a teacher second. Kairo exists because the professionals he meets — in his classroom, at work, in his network — keep asking the same question: not “what is AI,” but “how do I actually use it in my job?” Most programs don't answer that. Kairo does.
